What else is new? Hip hop music is seeing a resurgence of sorts with new releases by mainstream, old-school minded artists such as Nas and Jay-Z. The remedy is coming. With word of an upcoming joint from Mos Def and Pharoah Monch, hip hop is staging a crazy comeback.
Something that was overshadowed over the christmas break is the EP of Madlib & Talib Kweli. Talib Kweli has tried to hit the mainstream bubble with little puncture, but he is still probably the best MC this side of the pacific. Madlib will always be Madlib. Beats that are so dirty that they are actually pretty clean.
Anyway, go get this EP and reactivate hip hop.
Some people know me as a magazine whore. If it catches my eye and is relevant to my interests, then I will drop a nice, crisp 5 dollar bill on it. Dwell magazine is a very cool, very hip version of Better Home & Garden.
Welcome back, folks. Hip Hop is dead, sad to say. But like lazarus, it's coming back. Welcome back, Nas.

I just went by Premier Boutique after work. Not much, just hanged out with some dudes. I bought a acapulco gold tee. The tee is the parody on the high end clothing lines out there. Can't afford the real shit, so I buy the parody. Also bought a Instant Winner Cap, or sorry, military hat. Same shit. Anyway, I like the shit. If you live in San Jose, or the south bay in general, come around to premier boutique. They got some hot cakes over there.

I love this thing. I have only had for a day or two and I already used it already! I never used the iTunes store before and I am already a fan. Makes me want to get a credit card and max that mother out.
Here is what I bought:
Felix Da Housecat - Playboy Mixed
Aaron Lacrate - Bmore Gutter Music
Ben Lee - Freediving
Gorgo Bordello - Start Wearing Purple
Some other shit.
A Manny Pacquaio fight makes for a great event in my house. Most of the fam come around to watch the fight and we buy lots of food. This fight brought along $200 worth of food to my for a $50 dollar fight that ended too quickly. Where's my money!? I want my money back! Fucking Pacquaio!
Anyway, had the fam over and this cause a giant photo-op.
Watching the opening fights. Sometimes, this are better than the main draw. Fucking pacquaio!
$200. Worth it.
Some of the fam using my valued resources!
Made with a family secret. Roll that roast beef footage!

What is it about our society that forces us all to be capitalist! I am now starting a clothing line with my friend for stupid ass reasons.
One, for money! I know it's not a lot, but I hope to have a ferrari or bugatti veyron in the near future. (Actually, maybe never)
Second, the girls. I'm a lonely guy and I need some love and attention. Well, assume the rest of the reasons.
Third, creative output. I consider myself a creative guy and I need a creative outlet. I have to stop talking about starting a clothing line and actually doing something about it.
